Codatum Agent Now Supports Web Search
Codatum Agent can now search public information on the web and use it in responses.
Web search is off by default. A user who can edit the AI Profile explicitly enables it and selects the allowed scope for that profile.
Key features
Explicit opt-in: Web search is not enabled automatically
Per-profile controls: Choose Off, Allow specific domains, or On
Opt out at any time: Turn the setting back off when web search is not needed
Domain restrictions: Limit searches to approved domains

Web search sends the search query and domain filters to an external web search service. Search excerpts are sent to the selected LLM provider to generate the response.
When restricting domains, example.com matches only that domain, while *.example.com matches subdomains only.
