Codatum Agent can now search and manage the data catalog.

Key features

• Search catalog tables by keyword, schema, tag, table type, or starred status.

• Review available schemas, table counts, table tags, and column tags.

• Search saved queries by keyword, connection, folder, or starred status.

• Review, add, update, or remove descriptions and tags on tables and columns.

• Create and update table and column tag definitions, including their colors and descriptions.

• Ask for sales-related tables and compare candidate schemas and tags before analysis.

• Find and reuse a saved query similar to a new analysis task.

• Record newly discovered table or column meaning as shared metadata.

Search and read operations are available in Ask mode. In Agent mode, Codatum Agent can set, update, or clear descriptions and tag assignments for tables and columns. It can create tag definitions and update the colors and descriptions of non-system tags. Tag names and types can't be changed, and only unreferenced non-system tags can be deleted.

Operations are limited by the signed-in user’s permissions and the connections allowed by the AI profile.
