Connect Codatum Agent to External Tools with Agent Connector

We added Agent Connector, which lets Codatum Agent use tools and APIs from external services.

You can browse connectors from workspace settings, review their authentication requirements, and add supported integrations. This makes it easier to combine data in Codatum with context from the external services your team uses every day.

Key features

  • Search the connector catalog: Filter by keyword, category, market, authentication scope, connector type, and availability.

  • Review requirements before connecting: Check whether a connector uses MCP or API, whether authentication is personal or organization-wide, the required credentials, and any setup steps.

  • Add supported connectors: Add connectors that are available for self-service setup and show Add connector on the detail page. Verification pending and Upon request connectors can't currently be added. You can also configure a custom connector using an MCP URL or API.

  • Choose the authentication scope: Use personal OAuth, an organization API key, or personal API authentication depending on the service.

  • Control access by AI Profile: Set connector access to Off, selected connectors only, or all connectors.

  • Approve actions before execution: In regular chats, MCP tools and Connector HTTP requests require approval by default, and users can enable auto-approval. Report sessions that use a fixed AI Profile execute tools without an individual approval prompt.

  • Check availability: The catalog distinguishes Live-tested, Verification pending, and Upon request connectors. Submitting a request doesn't guarantee availability.

  • Incident investigation: Combine Datadog or Sentry information with data in Codatum.

  • Development analysis: Reference GitHub or GitLab issues and code changes.

  • Document research: Use Notion, Box, or Dropbox content as context for analysis and reporting.

  • Operational analysis: Combine information from Salesforce, HubSpot, Shopify, or freee with analysis in Codatum.
